What is changing
  1. 01Compliance work grows every year

New rules, more checks and more reporting land on the same teams each year.

  2. 02Alerts outnumber analysts

Most monitoring alerts are false positives, and each one still needs a person to read it.

  3. 03Onboarding takes weeks

Documents, identity checks and approvals move by email, while clients wait to start.

Questions

About AI in financial services.

Which processes should get an agent first?

The ones that repeat every day, follow rules a person can explain and are easy to check. Client onboarding, alert review and the month-end close are common first choices. The AI Readiness Sprint ranks them for the specific firm.

Which systems do the agents connect to?

The ones already in place: core banking or policy administration, CRM, KYC and screening tools, transaction monitoring, document management and the general ledger. Agents connect through APIs or exports, so nothing needs replacing to start.

How long until the first agent runs every day?

Six to twelve weeks from scoping, on real data, with people approving each action until the results hold.

Where does client data stay?

In the firm’s own cloud tenancy or data centre. Each agent has its own access rights, every action is logged, and the setup is documented for security and operational resilience reviews such as DORA.

How does the EU AI Act apply to financial services?

Each agent gets a risk classification before it goes live, with the controls that class needs. Onboarding, alert review and close agents support analysts and are usually limited risk. Credit scoring and life or health insurance pricing are high risk under the Act, and are scoped with the compliance team from day one.

Who owns what is built?

The client owns everything: code, prompts, data pipelines and documentation, handed over in full.
